(Huron East, ON) – On March 25, 2011 at approximately 12:30 am, Huron OPP officers stopped a vehicle on Kippen Road in Huron East. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer formed the grounds that the driver had consumed alcohol and read a demand for her to provide a roadside sample of her breath. The driver complied but failed her test.
The driver was arrested and taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where she met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two more samples of her breath. The tests were completed and the results confirmed that the driver had approximately two times the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
As a result of the traffic stop and investigation, Lisa KEHL (38) of Walton has been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She will answer to her charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on May 9, 2011.
