(WALKERTON, ON) – On January 14th, 2012 at 2:09 am, members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting R.I.D.E. on Durham Street East in Walkerton. A Grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup stopped at the checkpoint and officers found liquor in the front passenger seat. The 17 year old driver was charged with Person under 19 years having liquor. Motorists are reminded to legally transport alcohol, it must be in a sealed container, must not be accessible to the driver and you must be at least 19 years of age or older.
