At approximately 1320hrs yesterday afternoon members of the community patrol division attended the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in regards to a complaint of an intoxicated male in the premises.
Upon arrival hospital staff advised officers that an intoxicated and unruly male party has been escorted to a quiet room for his safety and that of the public. While attempting to speak with the 48 year old Chatham man officers observed obvious signs of impairment. The male continuously shouted obscenities at officers and staff.
Upon being released from the hospital the male was arrested for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place. He is being held in police custody until sober.
