(LAKE HURON, ON) – On July 6, 2013 members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marine Unit were patrolling the waters of Lake Huron when they stopped to check on a Cabin Cruiser. During the inspection, officers found open liquor on the boat. 50 year old Calvin KEEFE of Halton Hills has been charged with Open liquor out of residence.
The judgement of a competent operator is an important contributor to safety out on the water. Don’t impair your ability, or anyone else’s, to safely return to the dock. The South Bruce OPP has a zero tolerance for those that choose to mix alcohol and boating.
