(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Saturday, January 11, 2014, in the early morning hours, a Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting vehicle patrol on Highway 21, Saugeen First Nation Territory, when he observed a silver 2006 Buick Rendezvous weaving on the road and initiated a traffic stop.
The driver was found to have been drinking. After failing a roadside breath test, further breath tests were conducted at the Wiarton Detachment. The test results indicated her blood alcohol concentration was over two times the legal limit.
Linda Carole MCQOID, age 47, was arrested and charged with over 80 milligrams. She will appear in Owen Sound Court on Monday, January, 20, 2014 to answer to the charge.
