Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am writing to provide you with an important update regarding your child’s final report card for this school year.
As you may be aware, public elementary teachers (ETFO) across Ontario are currently taking part in a lawful job action that will impact the completion of student report cards in their customary form.
Specifically, teachers will be providing marks for each subject assessed this term to their school administration. The school administration, led by the school Principal, will be entering this information, thereby ensuring that a final report card will be distributed to all students before the end of the school year.
Our elementary teachers are skilled professionals and we are confident that they have kept you well informed throughout the school year on the progress of your child. If you have any questions, we encourage you to contact your child’s teacher to discuss their marks and overall assessment of their school year.
