(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH) – On November 19, 2012 just a few minutes after 4:00 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer conducting RADAR patrol on Bluewater Veterans Highway observed a black Audi travelling northbound at a high rate of speed. The officer confirmed the speed with a RADAR device and a speed of 130 km/h was obtained.
As a result, Leanne TIVERTON, age 38, from Tiverton was charged with Racing a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. Her vehicle has been impounded and her licence has been for seven days. She will have to attend Provincial Offences Court in Goderich on January 22, 2013.
