Last 2 Weeks For Buck & Jo’s – North Huron Threatens $20,000/Day Fine

This is likely the last two weeks for Buck & Jo’s, 235 Josephine St, Wingham. North Huron is demanding that Buck & Jo’s shutdown by 25June2019 or face up to $20,000/day fine if they don’t capitulate to their arbitrary demands. North Huron claims Buck & Jo’s needs a fire suppression ventilation hood ($10,000+) over an electric household pancake griddle and a George Foreman style grill for toasting sandwiches. This is obviously ridiculous and would make all Church kitchens and most restaurants non compliant if that were the case.

If Buck & Jo’s does not win their appeal by 24June2019 they will have no option but to close or face up to a $20,000/day fine thanks to North Huron.
