Larry JONES Wanted By Police

It is week #23 of our Fugitive Friday initiative wherein the Halton Regional Police Service reaches out to the public to help locate wanted persons and hold them accountable for their actions.

There are numerous people who continue to evade the police and the court system and continue to live out in our communities while having a warrant for their arrest in place.

Every Friday, Halton Regional Police Offender Management Unit will share information on a wanted person in hopes that the public can assist in locating the individual.

We will share Fugitive Friday information on our website and via social media through our website.

In this edition of Fugitive Fridays for 2016 the 3 District, Burlington Offender Management Unit is searching for Larry JONES of Hamilton ON.

It is alleged:

– In May of 2016 the accused was in Burlington where he broke into the victim’s car and stole cash, gift cards, credit card and a bank card.

– The accused proceeded to use the credit card at numerous locations obtaining items.

– JONES at the time of this incident was bound by a Probation Order for which he failed to comply with by stealing the items.

A warrant is being sought for his arrest.

He is now wanted by Halton Regional Police Service for:

Theft Under $5000

Fraud Under $5000

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Use of stolen credit card

Fail to Comply with Probation

JONES is 41 years old and described as 5’8”, 141 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.

JONES is known to frequent Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
