(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an 18 year old male with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. Just before 1:00 a.m. on August 25, 2013 a red Pontiac entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located at Zurich-Hensall Road and East Street. Police spoke with the driver and noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered which resulted in a fail. He was transported to the Exeter OPP Detachment where he provided two samples of his breath; both were over the legal limit.
Kyle RYCKMAN, 18, from South Huron has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on October 31, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
