Kyle GREER Arrested Again – Theft & Drugs

(GODERICH, ON) – A 29-year-old from Central Huron is facing several criminal charges after he was caught stealing bottles of alcohol from a premise in Goderich.

On Saturday, June 1, 2019 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to investigate a report of a theft that had occurred at a not-for-profit organization located on Kingston Street in Goderich.

The investigation revealed on May 31, 2019 the accused forced entry into the building through a window. Once inside, the accused loaded up a bucket with over a dozen bottles of alcohol and departed the building.

Investigators were able to positively identify the suspect and he was subsequently arrested and taken into custody on June 4, 2019. Upon his arrest officers searched him and located a quantity of an illegal drug.

Kyle GREER, 29 years of age from Central Huron has been charged with Mischief Under $5,000, Theft Under $5,000 and Possession of a Schedule I Substance. He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 20, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
