Knife Attack In Downtown Owen Sound

On August 3 rd , 2018 shortly before 2 am, a male party who was walking in the 200 block of 9 th Street East was approached by an unknown male. Following a brief exchange of words one male produced a knife and slashed at the victim cutting the victim’s forearm. The assailant then fled the area. The victim was transported to hospital where he received medical attention for a deep laceration to his forearm.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the altercation or has information regarding this incident to contact Owen Sound Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
