(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Section charged a Kitchener-Waterloo area man following a sexual assault on a commercial bus near Ottawa.
On Friday, April 11, 2014, at approximately 5:00am, a female passenger travelling from Toronto to Ottawa via a commercial bus was sexually touched by a male seated next to her. The female victim contacted Ottawa Police once she got home.
Police officers responded to the bus station and arrested the suspect.
Zakaria John KHIRALLA, 30 years old, of the Kitchener-Waterloo area has been charged with one count of Sexual assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 12, 2014.
