Kiranpreet Kaur DEOL – 140 in an 80

(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) – On Tuesday July 24, 2018 at approximately 8:30 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 32, near Cambridge. The officer observed a female driving a silver sedan at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 140 km/h, exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 60 km/h.

32-year-old Kiranpreet Kaur DEOL of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on September 5, 2018. Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
