Kincardine Repeat Offender Facing Numerous Fraud Charges

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 27, 2016 at 1:09 p.m., members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a man using a stolen credit card at a business along Queen Street in Kincardine. The male left the store before officers arrived. Upon further investigation, officers learned the man had used the card at a number of businesses in downtown Kincardine.

On April 28, 2016, the male suspect was located in downtown Kincardine and arrested without incident. Forty-two-year old Edward KENNEDY of Kincardine has been charged with 9 counts of fraud, 11 counts of breaching probation, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for April 28, 2016.
