(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) – On January 11, 2013 at 6:43 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 19 in Arran-Elderslie Township observed a Black Kia Sephia moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 143 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The vehicle was stopped and the officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 27 year old Kimberley ADAMS of Owen Sound has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Race a motor vehicle. She is scheduled to appear in court on March 4, 2013 to answer to the charges.
