Fourth arrest following month long Crystal Meth trafficking investigation:
Members of the Owen Sound Police Drug Unit concluded a month long Crystal Meth trafficking investigation with the arrest of a fourth person. A 33 year old Meaford man was arrested this morning on the main street in Owen Sound.
A search warrant was then executed at a Meaford residence with the assistance of the Mount Forest OPP Drug Enforcement Unit and further evidence of drug trafficking was seized.
Over the past month investigators have seized quantities of crystal meth and evidence of a drug trafficking conspiracy involving the four persons.
Kevin Scholl 33 years of Meaford was arrested today and charged with two counts of conspiring to traffic Crystal Meth. He remains in police custody pending a bail hearing.
As part of the same investigation the Drug Unit arrested a 23 year old male on June 04th and a 28 year old female and a 27 year old male on June 12th. They all face similar drug trafficking charges.
