(MUNCIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday January 27, 2013, shortly before 3 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer observed a vehicle on Line 42, being operated by a male driver who was known to require an ignition interlock device in vehicles he drives. The officer spoke to the male driver and noted that the pickup truck he was driving failed to have an ignition interlock device.
Kevin MURPHY 40 of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with drive disqualified, and drive motor vehicle not equipped with an approved ignition interlock device. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on Monday February 25, 2013, to answer to these charges. His vehicle was towed from the scene and has been impounded for seven days.
