Kenton Scholtz – Drunk Driving

(GODERICH, ON) – On June 30, 2012 at approximately 10:30 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer stopped a maroon GMC pickup truck on Bayfield Road to check on the sobriety of the driver.

Upon speaking with the male driver, the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. In addition, the validation sticker on the licence plate was expired. Kenton SCHOLTZ, age 49, from Goderich has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of alcohol and Drive Motor Vehicle with Expired Validation Sticker. A court date is scheduled for August 20, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
