(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday January 27, 2012 a Perth County OPP officer pulled over a speeding driver on Line 87 near Kurtzville.
While speaking to the driver, the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage being emitted from the driver’s breath. The driver failed a roadside breath test and two subsequent Intoxilyzer breath tests at the North Perth County OPP detachment in Listowel.
As a result, Kenneth Wilson (42) of Howick Township has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of bloodâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear in Listowel Court on March 21, 2012 to answer to this charge. He was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
