Kathryn Dineen – 134 in an 80

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) On Sunday March 10, 2013 at approximately 10:15 am, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting moving radar speed enforcement and monitoring traffic on Wellington County Road 123 just east of Palmerston in the Town of Minto. At this time and location Constable Ellison Caturia observed a westbound 1998 Chevy CZ2 travelling well above the speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 134km/h in an 80km/h zone. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of seven days as per statute.

Kathryn Dineen aged 62 of Ayr has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 15, 2013 to answer to the charge.
