(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday February 01, 2014, around 4:30 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers on patrol in Listowel attended at the North Town Car Wash on Wallace Ave North, to check on the premises as they had been the victim of some recent thefts and mischiefs.
The officers located a female near the vending machines matching the description of a suspect seen on the premises in January when thefts had occurred at the car wash. The female was arrested and break-in instruments were found to be in her possession.
Kate LACE (20) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with two counts of “mischief under $5,000â€Â, two counts of “Theft under $5,000â€Â, and “possession of break-in instrumentsâ€Â. She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on Wednesday March 19, 2014, to answer to these charges.
