(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday August 22, 2010, shortly before 2 a.m. a motorist called police advising that a car he was following on Line 32 between Stratford and Mitchell was swerving all over the road.
Perth County OPP officers were dispatched and intercepted the car south east of Mitchell. The female driver of the car was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where she provided two breath samples into the Intoxilyzer. Results of these breath tests were in excess of .80 mgs.
Karin Choo-Ket-Loung (29) from the Municipality of West Perth is charged with operating a motor vehicle and having in excess of eighty milligrams of blood alcohol in one hundred millilitres of blood. She is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on September 27, 2010 to answer to this charge. She was also served notice of a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
