On Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at approximately 9:20 p.m., members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service were en-route to Blenheim to set up a RIDE program. They observed a woman driving southbound on Communication Road near the town of Blenheim. The vehicle was stopped and through investigation officers believed that the woman had consumed alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered and as a result, the woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
Karen BAILEY, 23 years, of Fargo Road in Harwich has been charged with Having a Blood Alcohol Concentration Exceeding the Legal Limit. She has been released with conditions pending a future court date of January 13, 2015.
