(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Friday September 05, 2014 shortly after 4:30 p.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a Main St. West business in Listowel, where a shoplifter had left a store with product that was not paid for.
Within less than 15 minutes a Perth County OPP officer located the shoplifter on Binning Street West. The male who matched the description provided by the shopkeeper was found to be in possession of the stolen merchandise. The male was also determined to be on a Probation order, of which he was breaching a number of conditions.
Justin MCLEAN (30) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences; “theft under $5,000â€Â, “possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000â€Â, and with three counts of “fail to comply with probation orderâ€Â. He is to appear at the Listowel Court of Justice on October 08, 2014, to answer to these charges
