(PERTH EAST, ON) – Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Perth Road 109 in the Township of Perth East shortly after 4:00 p.m. on April 8, 2018.
The driver of the motor vehicle was suspected to be impaired and was immediately reported to police.
Through investigation, it was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Perth County OPP detachment for breath tests.
Thirty-one-year old Judestan IGNATIOUS of the Township of Perth East was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Care and Control While Impaired (alcohol), and
Care and Control Over 80 milligrams
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
