(NORTH HURON, ON) – On January 6, 2012 at approximately 9:00 a.m., a Huron County OPP officer was conducting RADAR patrol on Donnybrook Line, north of Belgrave Road when a Chevrolet Uplander was observed moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was locked at 142 km/h in a posted 90 km/h zone. 48 year old Juanita SHIELS of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, ON has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle -Speeding by 50km/h or more. She will have to attend Provincial Offences Act Court – Goderich on March 6, 2012 to answer to the charge. Her licence has been suspended for 7 days and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
