(Goderich, ON) On October 10, 2009 at approximately 7:30 pm Huron OPP officers initiated a traffic stop in Goderich to check the sobriety of a driver after observing a vehicle being driven suspiciously. Upon approaching the driver side of the vehicle, police could detect a faint odour of fresh cut marihuana coming from the bed of the truck. The driver appeared to be very nervous when speaking to police. Further investigation led the officers to locate fresh cut marihuana hidden in the box of the truck. The driver of the vehicle, Joshua O’Brien (25) of Goderich, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule II Marihuana. He will answer to his charge in Goderich Court on December 7, 2009.
