Joshua O’Hearn – Drunk Driving, 90 Day Suspension

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Tuesday June 05, 2012, shortly after 10 p.m. an OPP officer on patrol activated his police radar after observing a fast moving west- bound pickup truck on Line 37 north east of Stratford. The truck was locked in on radar at an extremely high rate of speed.

The officer pulled over the pickup truck and spoke to the driver. The driver was administered a roadside breath test which he failed. The driver was transported to the Stratford Police Station where he also failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.

Joshua O’Hearn (22) of the Township of Perth East has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood”. He was also summonsed to court for the speeding offence. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on July 09, 2012 to answer to these charges. He was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
