WARRANT EXECUTED – CASH & DRUGS SEIZED
(GODERICH, ON) – On August 8, 2012 members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant at a residence located on Suncoast Drive East in the Town of Goderich.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized a quantity of illegal drugs including: Cannabis Marihuana, MDMA (Ecstasy), Cocaine and Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms). The estimated combined street value of the controlled substances is nearly $18,000. Officers also seized offence related property including $5,600 in cash and drug related paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation two people have been charged:
A 21 year old male, Joshua LEBRUN and a 21 year old female, Michelle BOURDEAU both from Goderich are charged with three counts each of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and one count each of Possession contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Both have been released from custody with scheduled court appearances on September 17, 2012 at Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
