(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) – On Friday July 12, 2013 at approximately 11:17 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at the roundabout located at Wellington Road 34 and Wellington Road 32 in the Township of Puslinch.
Police arrived at the scene and observed the two vehicles involved in the collision – a 2007 Dodge Calibre and a 2006 Pontiac WLT. Officers approached the Dodge in order to speak with the driver and observed him sleeping in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Upon speaking with the male police discovered that he had been drinking.
Joseph Moore aged 41 of Burlington has been charged with Over 80 mgs and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on August 23, 2013 to answer to the charges.
