(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) On January 20, 2013 at about 11:50am, County of Wellington OPP were conducting speed enforcement on Highway 6, near Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township. At this location, the officer observed a southbound motor vehicle that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit. Police clocked the 2003 Chrysler minivan on radar at 137km/h in the 80km/h zone.
Jorge Correa, age 21 of Brampton has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The vehicle was impounded and drivers licence suspended for 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 6, 2013 to answer to the charge.
