John TOPOR Facing More Charges Following Collision

(DORKING, ON) – On August 30, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment, Perth County Paramedic Services and Perth East Fire Department responded to the scene of a collision involving two motor vehicles.

The collision occurred on Perth Line 86 east of Road 124, north of Dorking in the Township of Perth East.

A westbound sedan on Line 86 crossed the center line and entered the eastbound lane striking an eastbound pickup hauling a camper trailer.

The driver of the westbound sedan, John TOPOR fled the collision scene on foot but was located a short time later in Milverton.

John TOPOR, 33-years-old, of Huron East has been charged with the following;

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

Failure to stop after accident

Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited

Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
