John Thompson – Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On September 30, 2012 just before 3:00 p.m. Huron County OPP officers received a call regarding a motor vehicle being driving erratically southbound on Bluewater Veterans Highway. A few minutes later officers located and stopped a green Ford pickup near Cut Line Road.

Upon speaking with the male driver officers noted the driver had been drinking alcohol and his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

John THOMPSON, age 66, from Kincardine has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol, Impaired Driving and Breach of Probation. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 1, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
