Internal Fraud – Arrest
In 2010, The Guelph Police commenced an investigation at the request of a Guelph business into the misappropriation of funds by a former financial controller. Investigation revealed that the business sustained a financial loss that was approximately $700,000.00.
On Tuesday October 16, 2012, members of the Guelph Police Fraud Unit concluded their investigation with the arrest of the former employee.
Jeffrey MARTIN 41 years of Waterloo was charged with seven counts of Fraud Over $5000. He will appear in court in November.
