(HURON EAST, ON) On June 24, 2013 at approximately 5:30 p.m., an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer with the Traffic Management Unit observed a Pontiac Firebird speeding along Brussels Line near Cranbrook Road. The officer captured the driver’s speed at 165 km/h in a posted 90 km/h zone.
29 year old Jeffrey BEYERSBERGEN of Huron East has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He will have to attend Provincial Offences Court – Goderich on July 23, 2013 to answer to the charge. His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
