(PUSLINCH TWP, ON.) – On Sunday September 16, 2012 at about 10:45pm members of the County of Wellington OPP Traffic Management Unit were conducting stationary radar and monitoring traffic on County Road 34 near County Road 32 in Puslinch Twp. At this time and location Constable Sara Van Norman of the Wellington County OPP TMU observed an eastbound Chrysler Sebring travelling well above the speed limit. Police clocked the auto on radar at 119 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Jason Robinson aged 37 of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 18, 2012 to answer to the charge.
