On Thursday May 30, 2013 London Police received a complaint that a male had been secretly recording a female in the downtown area. Police located and arrested 31-year-old Jason Pynn who was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Secretly recording person for sexual purpose, contrary to section 162 (1)(c)
Utter threats of death, contrary to section 264.1(1)(a)
The London Police Cyber Crime unit conducted a search warrant on the devices that were seized from the accused. As a result of evidence obtained 31-year-old Jason Pynn was further charged with the following Criminal Code Offences:
Six counts of secretly recording person for sexual purpose, contrary to section 162(1)(c)
Criminal Harassment by threatening conduct, contrary to section 264(2)(d)
