(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – On July 26, 2012 at 3:22 p.m. a Huron OPP officer spotted a Chevrolet Equinox speeding along Amberley Road near Donnybrook Line. The officer stopped the male driver for speeding and upon speaking with him the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol.
Jason MONKS, age 32, from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol. His court date is scheduled for September 10, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
