(ST.MARYS, ON) On Friday November 18, 2011 around 1:45 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer in St.Marys spoke to the driver of a pickup truck on Emily Street in St.Marys. The officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage being emitted from the driver’s breath. The driver was subsequently administered a roadside breath test which he failed. The driver was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he also failed two Intoxilyzer tests.
Jason Connors(41) of Huron East has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of bloodâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on December19, 2011 to answer to this charge. In addition he was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
