(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On April 13, 2013 at approximately 5:35 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a red Honda CRV on Thames Road East at Orchard Road East in Exeter. The officer pulled the vehicle over to check on the licence status of the driver.
The officer spoke with the driver and determined the female driver had been drinking alcohol. She completed a roadside screening test which resulted in a fail. She was transported to detachment where she provided two samples of her breath, which were both over the legal limit.
Janet MARRIAGE, 46, from Bluewater has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on May 23, 2013. She received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
