Jamie O’Neil – Drunk Driving

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A 23 year old male is facing an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and an Over 80 charge in relation to an early morning traffic stop on Brandon Road in Morris-Turnberry. On March 31, 2013 at 3:43 a.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was stopped at the entrance of a laneway to a farmers’ field.

Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered and the driver registered a fail. He later provided two samples of his breath to an Intoxilizer technician. Both tests were above the legal limit.

As a result, Jamie O’NEIL, 23, from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court appearance scheduled for April 18, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
