(CHESLEY, ON) – On December 29th, 2010 at 5:24 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of an assault at a residence along 1st Avenue South in Chesley.
The home owner refused to cooperate with the suspects and was assaulted. During the assault, a firearm was brandished before the suspects fled the residence.
The area was searched with the assistance of the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit, but they were not located.
The home owner was treated for minor injuries sustained during the encounter.
28 year old Jamie KENDRICK of Neustadt has been arrested and charged with Robbery with firearm and Public Mischief – Accuse other person.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit.
