(HURON EAST, ON) – On September 28, 2012 just after 10:30 p.m. Huron County OPP officers observed a red Dodge pickup turn just before entering a R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checkpoint set up on Front Road and Hensall Road. Officers followed and stopped the vehicle.
Upon speaking with the male driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol.
James WICKENHEISER, age 25, from West Perth has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 18, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
