On November 7, 2014 at 3:30 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the plaza located at Speedvale Avenue and Woolwich Street for the report of a possible impaired driver. The investigation alleges that the male had driven into the parking lot where a citizen took the keys from him to keep him from driving further. Police located the man a short distance and he was arrested.
James Rowe, 35 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80mg. He will appear in court on November 21, 2014.
