(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Sunday January 30, 2011, after 12:30 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Perth Road 119 south of Gads Hill. The male driver was given a roadside breath tests which he failed. The driver was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed the Intoxilyzer breath test.
James Leyser (51) of Tavistock was subsequently charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford criminal court on Monday March 07, 2011 to answer to this charge. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
