James Dunbar – Drunk Driving, Three Times Legal Limit

(BLUEWATER, ON) On January 1, 2011 at approximately 2:30 am Huron OPP officers were patrolling in Hensall when they observed a vehicle being driven erratically. The vehicle was stopped and upon speaking to the lone occupant, the officer formed the grounds that the driver was impaired by alcohol. The male was arrested and taken to the Exeter OPP Detachment where he provided two samples of his breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician. The results of the tests confirmed that the driver had approximately 3 times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

As a result of the traffic stop, James DUNBAR (37) of Bluewater has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He will answer to his charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on April 14, 2011. The vehicle he was driving was impounded for 7 days and his drivers’ licence was suspended for 90 days.
