Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau make an arrest in the Region’s 9th homicide of the year.
On Wednesday September 28, 2016 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a call for a medical assistance in an underground parking lot in the area of Grand Park Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road West in the City of Mississauga. Officers arrived on scene and located a male with obvious signs of trauma. An autopsy confirmed his cause of death to be a stab wound.
The victim is 31 year-old Nam Huu PHAM, aresident of Toronto.
On Monday, October 3, 2016 in the early afternoon, investigators arrested David BAICHOO in the area of The Queensway and Hurontario Street in the City of Mississauga. David BAICHOO, a 26 year-old male from Mississauga has been charged with First Degree Murder of Nam Huu PHAM. BAICHOO appeared this afternoon at the A. Grenville & William Davis Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton and has been remanded to November 4, 2016 for a special bail hearing.
Investigators from Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are continuing their investigation and would like to speak to anyone having information regarding the incident and/or persons involved.
