Occurrence Type: Investigation into IED’s Continues

Investigative Services are continuing the investigation in regards to the evidence gathered from the scene at Sunnidale Park. The area itself was not under video surveillance.
Additional examination of the devices by EDU (Explosives Devices Unit) Officers shows that the devices did have the possibility to ignite.
Information with regards to the person(s)responsible for these devices and their placement will be released as police continue their investigation.
