Barrie Police and Barrie Fire attended an Edgehill Drive basement apartment during the early morning hours in response to a 911 call for a fire. Police and Fire investigation reveal no signs of a fire. When police interviewed the intoxicated female residence she found the situation to be humorous.
As a result of the investigation the 51 year female residence was arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5000 for making a false 911 to emergency services. She was held for a bail hearing.
